Exhalation by Ted Chiang

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ted Chiang is such a phenomenal author, capable of making clear and vivid stories, based on interesting philosophical and technological concepts. I don’t agree with every take but his exploration of the concepts is phenomenal and done without the rambling I find common in many other novels. In these stories, Chiang covers a huge range of concepts including, entropy, consent, adulthood, science, conflicts of faith, determinism, literary vs oral culture and what it means to record something, and more.

Chiang based.

Note: Listened to as an audiobook, I don’t think anything was lost.
